AquaFX Barracuda Platinum 200 GPD RO/DI System w/ High-Flow Booster Pump
Introducing the Barracuda Platinum 200 GPD RO/DI System by AquaFX—our best-selling water purification system, now upgraded with an integrated High-Flow Booster Pump.
Engineered for residential reef enthusiasts and professional aquarists alike, this powerhouse unit delivers 0 TDS, ultra-pure laboratory-grade water by stripping away phosphates and harmful impurities. Hand-built in the USA, it is recognized as the industry's #1 pick for RO/DI systems and is backed by the best customer service in the industry.
Perfect for Well Water and Low-Pressure Applications
Optimized for Low Pressure: Perfect for rural well water systems and areas with low municipal water lines.
Maximum Efficiency: The included High-Flow Booster Pump drives water pressure to its ideal running state.
Zero Waste: Guarantees your true 200 GPD production rate with a vastly superior waste-to-product water ratio.
The 4-Stage Advanced Filtration Process
Stage 1: AquaFX Premium 1-Micron Sediment Filter – Traps dirt, silt, and rust.
Stage 2: AquaFX Chlorine Guzzler Carbon Block – Removes heavy traditional chlorine. (Note: If your municipality uses chloramines, look into our Chloramine Blaster options)
Stage 3: AquaFX TFC RO Membrane (USA Made) – Strips 98% of dissolved minerals.
Stage 4: AquaFX Mixed Bed Color-Indicating DI Resin – Eliminates remaining ions for 0 TDS.
Dealing with Chloramines? Look into our Chloramine Blaster options!
Standard carbon blocks only strip away chlorine, leaving toxic ammonia gas behind to destroy your RO membrane and exhaust your DI resin prematurely. If your city sanitizes water with chloramines, upgrade your system with our specialized Chloramine Blaster Catalytic Carbon options:
Add-On Chloramine Blaster Kits: Easily add an extra canister stage to run two Chloramine Blaster cartridges in series for maximum contact time.
Refillable Blaster Upgrades: Swap your standard carbon stage for medical-grade, pressure-treated reactive carbon that actively breaks apart the ammonia-chlorine bond.
