RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems include the follow filtration stages:
Sediment Filter – removes dirt/silt and other large particles from water
Carbon Filter – removes chlorine, fluoride, pesticides and other VOCs. Chloramine Blaster filters effectively remove chloramines.
RO Filter – the RO filter is the heart of the RO/DI system. By utilizing a TFC membrane (thin film composite) and water pressure, the RO membrane removes over 95% of contaminates from water. These impurities include: lead, arsenic, phosphorous, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, viruses, bacteria and much more.
Seahorse Compact RO Systems
Seahorse systems are perfect for apartments and those that need their systems to be portable. Small and light-weight design lets you make ultra-pure water anywhere. The inline cartridges also make changing cartridges a cinch!
Stingray RO System
The Stingray RO System is our most-affordable full-size RO system. The 2 Micron Chlorine Guzzler Carbon Pre-Filter doubles as a sediment filter to remove silt and chlorine. Water is then purified by the RO Membrane. The Stingray is great for freshwater hobbyists looking for an affordable system to purify water for their aquariums.
Dolphin RO System
The Dolphin RO System upgrades from the Stingrays 2-stage filtration to a 3-stage filtration. A dedicated sediment filter helps to remove as much silt and sediment as possible before water is processed by the Carbon Block prefilter and the RO Membrane. A convenient pressure gauge is included to alert you when the sediment filter becomes clogged and needs to be changed.
Dolphin Platinum RO System
The Dolphin Platinum RO System is great for low pressure applications. Upgrades from the standard Dolphin RO system includes a Booster Pump to improve performance/efficiency, a backlit TDS Meter to monitor system performance, a Glycerin-Filled Pressure Gauge and an Automatic Shut Off Kit for easy operation.
Blue Fin Light-Commercial RO System - NEW!
The new 500GPD light-commercial RO system is perfect for freshwater stores, reptile stores, fish/shrimp breeders and freshwater hobbyists with large aquariums. The 500GPD membrane produces a ton of water quickly, yet does not require a booster pump (rated 500GPD at 65PSI, 77°F and 250PPM TDS).
