Sediment Filters – the sediment filter is the first stage of your RO or RO/DI System. It filters out any sediment, silt or other particles down to as small as 1 micron. We recommend replacing sediment filters when a 5 PSI pressure drop is noticed, or when the carbon filter is changed. Changing your sediment filter is a cost friendly way to ensure longer RO membrane life.
