AquaFX RO/DI systems are great for saltwater fish and reef aquariums. They are the filtration system of choice if you are looking to achieve ZERO TDS water! We offer both compact / portable RO/DI systems that are perfect for apartment dwellers and full-size systems that offers you great performance and durability.
RO/DI (Reverse Osmosis / Deionization) systems include the follow filtration stages:
Sediment Filter – removes dirt/silt and other large particles from water
Carbon Filter – removes chlorine, fluoride, pesticides and other VOCs. Chloramine Blaster filters effectively remove chloramines.
RO Filter – the RO filter is the heart of the RO/DI system. By utilizing a TFC membrane (thin film composite) and water pressure, the RO membrane removes over 95% of contaminates from water. These impurities include: lead, arsenic, phosphorous, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, viruses, bacteria and much more.
Deionization Filter – The DI filter is the last stage(s) of an RO/DI system. By using ion-exchange resins, the DI filter removes all the remaining impurities; leaving you with pure, zero TDS, water.
Premium RO Systems
AquaFXRO Systems are great for Freshwater Aquariums (Planted Aquariums, Crystal Shrimp, Discus, Cichlid and more), Saltwater Fish-Only Aquariums, Hydroponics and Drinking Water.

Zero Waste DI Systems
AquaFXZero Waste DI Systems are great if you do not want to have any waste water, or as an add-on to an RO or RO/DI System. The Add-On DI and Ballyhoo systems utilizes stage(s) of DI resin to absorb all the impurities from the water source: providing you with zero (or near zero) TDS water. The add-on Sediment Filter and the Moray will remove particulates from water and chlorine (Moray only), but will not significantly reduce TDS.
Drinking Water Systems
AquaFX Drinking Water Systems are great for making your own purified drinking water at home. Drinking water systems include an RO system along with a taste filter, a bladder tank and a faucet to provide your family with purified, safe and great-tasting water.
