- Stage 3 — AquaFX Chlorine Guzzler Carbon Block Filter (5/10 Micron): This secondary "Chlorine Guzzler" creates a high-efficiency double carbon block configuration. Membrane Performance Benchmarks
Please note that all AquaFX membrane flow-rate outputs are factory-rated based on ideal test conditions of 65 PSI water pressure, 77°F (25°C) water temperature, and 250 ppm input TDS over a 24-hour period. Lower supply pressure, cooler seasonal water temperatures, or higher baseline TDS will naturally reduce output.
Optional Upgrade Paths
The Standard Series is built on the same rugged chassis as our advanced models, meaning you can easily upgrade your system down the line if your needs change:
- Automatic Shut-Off (ASO) Valve Upgrade: You can easily add a traditional or high-pressure automatic shut-off valve to your Standard system. This allows the system to automatically stop water production when your reservoir or product line is closed off, preventing water waste.
- TDS Meter & Flush Kit Upgrades: You can add an inline or handheld TDS meter later for water monitoring, or a manual flush kit to regularly rinse the membrane and extend its operating lifespan.
- Booster Pump & Pressure Gauge Upgrade Kit: If your water pressure drops or you move to a well system, you can plumb in an external booster pump and a liquid-filled pressure gauge to artificially lift system pressure to peak efficiency.
