This light-commercial systems fit in perfectly between our smaller residential systems and our larger commercial systems. Whether you need more water than what a residential system can provide or you are not quite ready to make the sump to a full-sized commercial system, the Blue Fin RO/DI can meet your needs nicely without breaking the bank. 

For these very same reasons, we have decided to offer an RO-only version of our Blue Fin system. The “Blue Fin RO”. The same great system, minus the deionization stage(s). The Blue Fin RO is available in a 3-stage system that tackles chlorines and a 4-stage system that tackles chlorine & chloramines. These are great for:  

  • freshwater aquarium stores 
  • reptiles stores 
  • fish/shrimp breeders 
  • horticulture 
  • hobbyists with large freshwater aquariums (planted aquariums, discus, South American cichlids, stingrays and more) 

AquaFX Blue Fin 3-Stage 500GPD Light Commercial RO System

The 3-Stage Blue Fin RO system features a 10”x4.5” poly-blown sediment filter that removes sand, rust, silt and other particulates. It is followed by our Chlorine Guzzler carbon block filter that removes chlorine, herbicides/pesticides, VOCs and other unwanted chemicals. Water is then processed by our 500GPD light-commercial RO Membrane where up to 99% of over 100 different contaminants are removed. These contaminants include: Calcium, Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium, Manganese, Iron, Aluminum, Copper, Nickel , Cadmium, Silver, Zinc, Mercury, Hardness Ca & Mg, Radioactivity, Chloride, Ammonium, Bromide, Phosphate, Chromate, Cyanide, Sulfate, Thiosulfate, Silicate, Silica, Nitrate , Boron, Borate, Fluoride, Polyphosphate, Orthophosphate, Chromate, Bacteria, Uranium, Arsenic, Lead and more. This monster 500GPD is rated at the same supply water parameters as our residential 50/75/100GPDl RO membranes, so it will produce 500GPD at 65PSI, 77°F and 250PPM of TDS.
