The resin AquaFX uses is ideal for making laboratory grade type 1 water, which is perfect for top off water for your reef, salt and corals. AquaFX will always pack your DI in a refillable shell to give the option of refilling your DI, or you can dispose your exhausted cartridge.

Can you use this for drinking water?

A:
DI resin is not FDA-approved and we do not recommend using it for drinking water. If you have an RO/DI system, you can simply tee off the line from the RO and use only the RO portion for drinking water.
